Nga (Deborah)
Counsellor, M.A. (Counselling)Nga (Deborah) is a counsellor and founder of Living Hope Counselling Center in Ho Chi Minh City. She offers counselling in English and Vietnamese for teenagers, individuals, couples, and families—including expats, international students, and internationally minded families.
Nga believes healing begins when we feel truly seen, deeply heard, and gently supported. Her approach is warm, relational, and non-judgmental, offering a safe space to make sense of what you are carrying and find a way forward that feels right for you.
With a Master’s degree in Counselling from Singapore and training in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and advanced Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Nga supports young people experiencing anxiety, depression, overwhelming emotions, self-harm, or suicidal thoughts. She also works alongside parents, helping them understand and support their child through difficult seasons.
For couples—including intercultural couples—Nga helps partners move beyond painful cycles, rebuild trust and emotional safety, and reconnect with each other.
Through Living Hope Counselling Center, Nga hopes to create a compassionate place where people feel less alone, more understood, and empowered to live life to the fullest.
